This project was created as part of a project for Scripting for Games I at The University of Texas at Dallas. The goal of the project was to recreate the mechanics of a game of our choice. I chose to recreate the stealth mechanics of PAYDAY 2, an action game developed by OVERKILL Software. The game has a variety of complex mechanics, such as detection by guards based on line of sight, pathing for guards, a custom interaction system, the pager system from PAYDAY 2 where players have to answer a call after killing a guard, and more.
